Sajaro Projects was registered as a Company at the beginning of 2009.  The overall purpose of Sajaro is to provide cleaning, painting and gardening services, with a specific focus on the Germiston and Dukathole areas.

Sajaro founder, Laura Mavimbela, started the company by running a campaign called ’Keep Germiston Clean‘, using unemployed people to provide their services.

Sajaro’s vision is to create employment through gaining business in its focus areas, as well as to provide the best possible service to clients.

Sajaro’s pilot project at Melco proved to be extremely successful, with the following services being provided today:

  • Cleaning of the premises three times per week, including the outside parking area.
  • Daily cleaning of the change rooms
  • Weekly gardening services
  • Painting and routine maintenance of change rooms.

Six people are employed by Sajaro to service Melco’s requirements.
