Commissioning

Having checked that all the information given under Section 3 – Installation Instructions, has been

complied to, the idler frames should be positioned as follows:

• The idler frames should be positioned so that fixing bolts are at the extreme front end of the slotted holes i.e. towards the head end of the conveyor.
• If the belt does not track properly in spite of satisfactory compliance with the checks done on Section 3 – Installation instructions, then additional tracking may be done by tapping the idler frames forward on the side and area that the belt is running off. Always start from the tail end of the conveyor and work towards the head.

Remember that a series of idlers immediately behind and ahead of the point of bad tracking will require
adjustment.
