Melco has
been in business for over thirty years, and in that time has supplied
product for operation in over fifty countries. As a world renowned manufacturer
of conveyor idlers, modules and related equipment, the Melco Rollerbrake™
serves to reinforce the Company’s commitment to continual development
and improvement of an impressive range of quality products.
The Melco
Rollerbrake™ was designed and developed to prevent belt runback, reduce
downtime and minimise the risk of injury to personnel. By adding the
Rollerbrake™ to the conventional Melco roll, this essential device provides
reliable unidirectional stopping power to any inclined conveyor installation,
and supplements conventional conveyor holdback devices in the event
of their failure. The contact surfaces of the brake are not load-bearing
during normal operation, so there is no additional friction added to
the conveyor installation.
Manufactured
to highest standards
Melco Rollerbrakes™ are manufactured in accordance with the Melco ISO
9000:2000 Quality Management System and meet the highest quality standards
utilising wear resistant metals and high quality chromium steel rolling
elements.
Melco Rollerbrakes™
are available in all Melco standard roller shaft and bearing configurations.
