Inspection Services and Conveyor Surveys
Experienced Melco personnel undertake surveys of conveyor systems at client requests.
The aims of these surveys include
- Assessment of the performance and correct operation of the components of the conveyor such as alignment, belt tracking, spillage, belt condition, belt splicing, conveyor rollers and structure.
- Verification of design parameters such as roller design and drive pack rating against operating conditions.
- Determining installed populations of conveyor rollers for the purpose of optimization of stock planning.
A report is compiled and submitted detailing findings, together with the recommendations for improvement to increase availability, minimise downtime, and reduce the total operating costs.
